David Owl is portfolio management software for iOS that lets you manage your own investments — the work banks, pension funds and asset managers normally charge high fees for. David doesn't invest for you; you stay in control. Built by C capital bv (KvK 82436665) — the idea dates back to 2018 and the company was founded in 2025.

At launch, David supports Bitvavo. You connect through your own broker API keys, and the current list of supported brokers is always shown in the iOS app. We're actively expanding broker support.

David uses a one-time purchase model: each feature is bought once, with no subscription and no monthly fees. Maintenance and security updates are always included at no extra cost. Major upgrades and new features are available separately — you choose exactly what you want.

We believe software should be bought once, not rented. A subscription keeps you paying even when nothing improves. With David you pay once per feature, and we earn your continued use by building what you actually want.

Getting started is simple — initial setup takes a little effort, then you're up and running. In short: sign up your account, buy any of our features, download the iOS app, log in, choose your supported broker, create your API keys at your broker, add your API keys to your password vault in iOS, add them to David, review the connection, and start building. David Owl is based in the Netherlands and operates as a distributed company, with team members working from around the world.

In the iOS Keychain on your own device, protected by the Secure Enclave — a hardware-isolated chip. The keys do not go to a server.

They are also not available on other devices.

Only if you grant the key that permission. Restrict your API key's permissions to what's needed and exclude withdrawal rights if you don't want to allow them.

Multiple device support is not available.

You can only use David on one device. Your positions, fund configurations and settings are not synced to other devices.
